This was an exceptionally difficult design build complicated construction requiring extensive ground preparation with associated piling in order to raise the buildings to enhance the south facing unrestricted views directly down to the Abbey in central Bath.
The four bedroom and three bathroom house was constructed to the highest possible standard using the very best materials including Lechlade Limestone which covers all external surfaces.
The contemporary design incorporates a triple underground garage with a cottage garden above bordered by frameless glass. The house is surrounded by a beautifully tiled terrace to the front of the house a tiled courtyard to the rear and a roof terrace with decking and a grassed area.
All tiles used externally and internally in the kitchen and bathrooms and patios are by Porceainosa. The stylish kitchen is an Italian design and manufactured by Intoto Ltd. Sanitary ware is by Da Vinci. The house has underfloor heating and wood flooring throughout. The project is being forward for the National Design Build awards.
